The 28th International Conference on Photochemistry (ICP 2017) was held July 16 – 21, 2017 in Strasbourg, France
With a total of 520 participants, ICP 2017 was a great success thanks to your numerous outstanding contributions. The conference has proven once again to rely on a very active and creative scientific community gathering chemists, physicists and biologists around the ever fascinating phenomena light produces in molecular matter. We were honoured this year in particular by the participation of many highly renowned colleagues, including Nobel prize laureate Jean-Pierre Sauvage.
A special online issue of research papers and perspectives is in preparation for Photochemical & Photobiological Sciences.
The next international photochemistry conferences are:
– The 27th IUPAC int. Symposium on photochemistry, 8-13 July 2018, in Dublin, chairs: Susan Quinn, University College Dublin, Ireland & Miguel A. Garcia-Garibay, UCLA, USA
– The 29th International Conference on Photochemistry in Boulder (USA), 21-26 July 2019 , chairs: Garry Rumbles, University of Colorado, Boulder, USA & Greg Scholes, Princeton University, USA.
Looking forward to meeting you in Dublin and Boulder,
Stefan Haacke and the local organizing committee
